All Aboard the Rosh Hashanah Express
Climb aboard the Rosh Hashanah Express for an afternoon of fun celebrating the Jewish New Year - Rosh Hashanah!
- Ride on a trackless train (adults can ride too).
- Learn about the Jewish New Year through a storywalk featuring the beloved PJ Book, Engineer Ari and the Rosh Hashanah Ride by Deborah Bodin Cohen.
- Meet our own special train engineers - the new Rochester ShinShinim (teen emissaries from Israel), Uri, Dana, Ron and Yael.
- Crafts, activities and Kosher snacks will be provided.
The main program is free and open to everyone. For a small fee ($10/Honey Pot) you can paint your own Honey Pot that will be ready for pick up right before the holiday! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER YOUR HONEY POT!
Location: The Rosh Hashanah Train will depart in front of the Wolk Children's Main Entrance. Once your train ride is over, enjoy the Rosh Hashanah Story Walk that will lead throughout the JCC and transport you to the JCC Auditoriums.
